I’m Yours! • Mixed Media, 20x28"

▶︎ The name of the painting is “I’m Yours!”. Movement, Abandon, Love are some of the feelings I was trying to convey in this painting. This is done through warmer contrasting colours, enhanced light and shadows and very vigorous and wide brush strokes to keep it very abstract and harmonious.

▶︎ “I’m Yours!” is part of a series of Nude couple paintings submitted for the Luxembourg Art Prize 2021, that I am now releasing as Limited Editions (60). A small number of these fine-art prints are made on canvas and embellished by hand with Acrylic paint and medium to give it texture and make each one a unique piece.

▶︎ About the Nude couple series (2021):
In this new series of couple paintings, I am pursuing the exploration of Love and Intimacy in all its forms, in continuation of some of my earlier works. In contrast to most of my previous works, the focus is not the human body, but rather capturing a movement, a feeling, the fleeting emotion of an intimate moment.

In these paintings, I incorporate some of the learnings and techniques from my abstract series of last year. The more subtle, soft pastel tones and gradual hues, the use of unified color palettes and specific brushes give a unique tone and atmosphere to each painting, and aim to convey the emotion and feelings of each scene. The result is less revealing, more sensual and intimate.
