▶︎ The name of the painting is “Serenity”. The soft shades of brown and ochre create a feeling of relaxation and tranquility.
In this painting, I paid a particular attention to the choice of colors, giving a feeling of warmth and unity. It represents two bodies and souls uniting into one, almost as if every inch of their bodies is in contact. Comfort, serenity, unity, plenitude are some of the words and feelings that I am trying to elicit.
▶︎ “Serenity” is part of a series of Nude couple paintings submitted for the Luxembourg Art Prize 2021, that I am now releasing as Limited Editions (60). A small number of these fine-art prints are made on canvas and embellished by hand with Acrylic paint and medium to give it texture and make each one a unique piece.
